How to add Prospects

Look for Real Estate in the left menu...

After locating Real Estate in the left menu, click on Prospects. In the middle of the screen, your list of prospects would appear. In the case above, none have been entered. Click on New at the top. An new screen will enter in which to enter your prospects.

The Prospects area...

Many fields are provided for entering information about prospects. None are required by the program. Use any you prefer. If you decide to import lists, you would use .csv or comma separated value format to import into Real Estate Trader Pro. Remember to Save your file after entering or editing.

Importing Prospects...

Importing prospects or leads into the program is easy. Go to Real Estate, Prospects, and click on Tools at the top of the page. Click on Import. The Import Wizard will open.

The Import Wizard will open. Follow the on-screen instructions to import your leads into the Prospects section.

This window enables you to navigate to a .csv file on your hard-drive. Choose your file and click Next.

Using the column chooser

All lists of prospects or leads are different, but with the column chooser, there is no problem. Just choose the columns on the left that you want to use and click on the corresponding field at the right. A drop down menu will appear. Pick out the proper instance such as email=an email from the import list. Then, go to another item and do the same. This will make the correct information fall into the chosen fields in your Prospects list. Click Next.

View your data...

Here is the data you are importing. As you will see, there are many fields for each lead. You may not want to use all of them, so here you can move fields around and widen or narrow the amount of space you want for each one. Click Next when finished.

Import completed

Your import is complete and you can view your leads in the middle window of the software under Real Estate, Prospects. Click on any particular lead to view or edit.
